Charyl Chappuis is one of 8 players from SCG Muangthong United called represent Thailand in the upcoming friendly matches with Myanmar and Kenya.
"I'm very happy and thank the coaches for this opportunity. I will continue to work hard, both with SCG Muangthong United and the national team to give the best I can. The spirit amongst the players is very good at training camp, and I will learn as quickly as possible to fit in with the style of play the coach requires."
"We are familiar with Myanmar's style of play, but we don't know much about the Kenyan team. At least we will be playing at home for this match, and I expect a good result for the fans."
In addition to Charyl, the Kirin players to represent Thailand are: Teerasil Dangda, Theerathon Bunmathan, Peerapat Notchaiya, Tristan Do, Kawin Thamsatchanan, Adisorn Promrak, Siroch Chatthong, and in his debut Prasit Padungchok (Kirin's #2 keeper). The FIFA friendly matches are scheduled for October 5th in Myanmar, and then October 8th vs. Kenya, to be played at the SCG Stadium, 19:30 kickoff.
