Muangthong United are finishing the season in championship style with a quality 2-0 win over Osotspa M-150.
The first half ended 1-0 in favour of Muangthong United, however early on Kin Dong Jin went down injured and left the pitch with the trainer for the locker room. The hamstring injury means he is doubtful for the next match.
Missing a key defender didn't seem to be an issue, however, as substitute Tossapol Lates was able to fill the centre back role.
Both teams had good chances at net, though as the half progressed United tended to control the ball better, using short passes through the middle rather than long balls or playing to the side. Just before half time the goal game in just this fashion, when Sarach Yuyen fed Milan Bubalo on a quick give and go that gave Bubalo good position to score.
United's late goal in the first half was followed up with another strike early in the second half. Sarach Yuyen added to his assist by heading in a ball that had bounced and rebounded off several players.
Shortly after Osotspa M-150 subbed in two forwards and the balance of play shifted in their favour. Kawin made key blocks and clearances as the team in yellow held possession.The highlight moment for Kawin came at the 85th minute with a save on a penalty shot.
Muangthong's next and final match of the season is this Sunday, Nov. 2nd, at home to Bangkok United.
