Dr. Pornthep Mamanee, the team medical professional, has confirmed that Siwakorn Jakkuprasat, the team’s star midfielder, has torn his right foot tendon, including his right clavicle, after a check-up at Bangkok Hospital.
The primary treatment is to be in plaster cast and to not put weight on his feet. Though surgery is not needed, he is expected to go through at least two months of recovery before being able to do light practices. However, there was good news regarding Jay Bothroyd recent muscle spasm in which he only have to take a 1-week break before he can join the team again. Meanwhile, Erik Paartalu has a chance for a comeback match with Bangkok Glass this weekend.
Kim Dong-Jin, Cleiton Silva, Thitipan Puangchan, Anuwat Inyin, and Kawin Thamsatchanan are also still out with injuries.
