Heberty Fernandes joined SCG Muangthong United midway through the 2017 season, joining the Kirin following the departure of Chanathip Songkrasin on loan to Japan's Sapporo Consadole.
Heberty has plenty of Thai league experience, having played for several seasons with Ratchaburi Mitr Phol F.C. before spending one season in Saudi. He's a well respected in the league for his creative play making, ball control, and excellent finish. He's been the league's leading goal scorer.
Heberty plays as an attacking midfielder or winger, working between the defenders and the forwards to create opportunities. He's a skilled with free kicks or penalty shots, and look for him to step forward for these set pieces.
